About the plant and variegation: You can identify a pink princess by its dark pink stems. "Most plants leaves are green and are expressing some pink until they are quite mature. There is no reason why the plants won’t produce pink leaves at some point, but no guarantee and only the plants DNA knows when. Some plants produce flecks of pink early on or begin to as they mature." Your plant could have some pink and then revert back to green until it matures more, providing it with optimal care the mature leaves will have splashes of pink or half pink. Your plant could have 'not enough pink’ but suddenly bloom into the regal Princess she was born to be. The pink princess can grow distorted leaves due to lack of humidity when the new leaf is unfurling.
